Ryan joined Avatar Financial Group LLC (Avatar) in early 2020 after nearly 10 years of outside legal representation of businesses, lenders, and commercial real estate developers throughout California and Washington through his time with a regional and subsequently a national law firm. His legal representation encompassed a wide array of business, employment, contractual, and transactional litigation. His experience representing a large real estate developer in California for many years has positioned him well to guide Avatar through the lending world as well as any disputes or negotiations which arise out of originating and servicing loans. Ryan is intimately involved in the loan origination, closing, and servicing of loans for Avatar, in addition to providing legal counsel on all aspects of Avatar’s business.

Ryan maintains a license to practice law in both California (2011) and Washington (2017). He graduated from Westmont College in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and a minor in English, and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2011. Ryan is also a Director on the Board of a large insurance agency based out of Sacramento, California.
