Ron Thomas serves as Director of Asset Management at Avatar Financial Group LLC (Avatar), where he brings decades of real estate industry experience spanning valuation, underwriting, due diligence, development management and asset management. In his role, he supports Avatar’s lending platform with a practical, transaction-focused perspective shaped by work across commercial appraisal, land use and development planning, private lending, loan origination and REO management.

Throughout his career, Ron has advised investment funds, developers, private lenders, legal professionals and other real estate stakeholders on transactions across the country. His experience includes work across all major property types, including office, retail, multifamily, industrial and residential assets, as well as expert witness testimony in real estate litigation.

Ron holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Urban and Regional Planning and Economics, and has completed advanced coursework through the Appraisal Institute in income capitalization and professional appraisal standards. He is known for his analytical discipline, attention to detail and ability to execute accurately under tight deadlines.
