State Information

With decidedly Western states to one side, Texas to its south and Missouri to its north east, Oklahoma is a truly central American state. Its main areas of industry are farming, oil and natural gas, and despite its landlocked status, it boasts seven lakes, two of them quite of a substantial size. Cotton used to be the main source of revenue, but it has been overtaken by wheat.

Oklahoma is also home to the largest number of tornados per square miles in the U.S., and whaling, of all things, is illegal in the state. It entered the union on November 16, 1907 and has a population of around 3.5 million people.
