Avatar Gets Funding from Institutional Investors
A REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) is commonly an investing firm that puts money into real estate purchases in particular areas or property types that are anticipated to bring growth in value and revenue. Avatar is a similiar type of company, in that we fund existing or newly purchased real estate, but rather than anticipate the upward growth of value, Avatar gets paid whether the property improves in value or not.
Most of Avatar's investments are for fewer than 3 years, making our projects profitable very quickly with a short turn-around time. Although our criteria are strict, we are able to fund many loans that are "near-bank" deals (deals that barely were disqualified from bank funding). These deals provide a high rate of return, with minimal risk.
Investors
Avatar is not actively soliciting investors. Our portfolio of funds currently exceeds $100million. However, we are always open to offers from institutional investors interested in the hard money and bridge loan market.
